- AOF Karen J Nichols, DO, LEAD Scholar Award
This educational scholarship is awarded annually to recognize an Osteopathic medical student whose Leadership, Excellence, Achievement, and Dedication are proven in the classroom and community. A scholarship award of $5,000 will be presented to one (1) individual who exemplifies the scholarship purpose. - AOF 2023 Levine Osteopathic Family Medicine Resident Scholarship
Honoring the lifelong commitment and unwavering dedication of Martin S. Levine, DO, recognizes an outstanding resident physician who and embodies a spirit of altruism and whose combination of clinical promise, leadership, dedication, and commitment to Osteopathic patient-centered care elevates them from their peers. One award of $10,000 will be presented to one (1) resident Osteopathic physician who has completed their first year in a Family Medicine Residency program with Osteopathic recognition. The award will be distributed in two equal payments, for two consecutive years, provided the recipient remains in good standing with the program and continues their Osteopathic medical career. - AOF William G. Anderson, DO, Minority Scholarship
This education scholarship strives to recognize outstanding minority medical students who are on their way to becoming tomorrow’s Osteopathic physicians, committed to the pursuit of eliminating health care disparities and to enhance patient-centered care. A limited number of educational scholarships in the amount of $10,000 will be awarded to minority students who exemplify the scholarship purpose. - AOF Jeffrey Grove, DO, LGBTQ+ Pride Scholarship
Established by Jeffrey Grove, DO, this educational scholarship is awarded annually to recognize an Osteopathic medical student committed to a course of study to better understand and address the unique healthcare needs of the LGBTQ+ community and how such needs can be addressed through Osteopathic medicine. Pride Scholars recognize LGBTQ+ identity, affirm equal rights for all, and celebrate the dignity and diversity of everyone in the LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities. A scholarship award of $10,000 will be presented to one (1) individual who exemplifies the scholarship’s purpose.

- AOF/ AAOA Holiday Hugs Grants
The Advocates for the AOA, in partnership with the American Osteopathic Foundation (AOF), created the Holiday Hug Grant in 2020 to help two medical students or current residents with year-end expenses with grants of $500 each. - AOF Edward and Joanne Loniewski Merit Scholarship
The AOF Edward & Joanne Loniewski Merit Scholarship Fund was established by Edward A. Loniewski, DO in an effort to combine his deep commitment to AOF with his love of Michigan State University (MSU) College of Osteopathic Medicine. This Fund provides an annual scholarship of $3,000 to one OMS III or OMS IV student enrolled at MSUCOM in good academic standing, demonstrated leadership skills, and articulated financial need.
- AOF Thomas A. Quinn, DO, Osteopathic Scholarship
The AOF Thomas A. Quinn, DO, Osteopathic Scholarship is an annual scholarship award in the amount of $4,000 that recognizes up to 2 Osteopathic medical students annually who are fervently committed to Osteopathic principles and practice and have maintained an above-average academic standing throughout their academic tenure. The scholarship will be distributed in two equal payments for two consecutive years provided the student remains in good academic standing.
- AOF Prairie State Scholarship
The AOF Prairie State Scholarship was created through a collaborative partnership with the Illinois Osteopathic Medical Society to provide financial assistance to Osteopathic medical students who graduated from an Illinois high school. An annual scholarship in the amount of $5,000 will be awarded to one student who This student exemplifies the ideals of the Osteopathic profession and serves as an ambassador for the profession while completing their Osteopathic education. - AOF Rocovich Research Grant
This research grant is given annually to recognize an Osteopathic medical student, resident, or physician who is advancing the profession by contributing to scholarly work through research and publication on the biomechanical, biomedical, or clinical aspects of Osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT). A research grant of $3,000 will be presented to one individual annually who exemplifies the grant purpose. - AOF Burnett Osteopathic Student Researcher Grant - This award opens in Fall 2024
This grant was established to support an Osteopathic medical student for their true dedication to Osteopathic-oriented research. An bi-annual award in the amount of $5,000 will be presented to one individual who has demonstrated a commitment to the science of Osteopathic principles and practice, an active interest in clinical or basic science research pertaining to Osteopathic medicine and manipulative treatment, and outstanding academic achievement and noteworthy accomplishments in research. This award opens again in Fall 2024.
